| Review: Home Alone is one of the most popular films of the early 90s. The success is fascinating and it also makes Macaulay Culkin superstar.The plot is fairly original and surreal: a child home alone and can do banditss miserable lives? Sure, his story is impossible, but who cares? Far from being a perfect film, however, and very fun to watch, fun and also slapstick humor even though I do not like some of the language used. Our story takes place in Chicago on Christmas, making this Christmas movie. In fact, the film has too many Christmas decorations, lights, snow and many other details that create the feeling and magic so typical Christmas. To hold the Christmas atmosphere even more, a great cup of Christmas carols as Rockin Around The Christmas Tree (performed by Brenda Lee), mean one, Mr. Grinch, White Christmas, Carol of the Bells, O Holly Night Getting Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and some robust instrumental musics.Kevin McCallister is the main character of the story. He's not just any kid, he's a very smart one. He also knows all about the intentions of Harry and Marv wet team and prepare them many unexpected surprises. Their lives will not be easy with Kevin defends his home. Sure, they are villains and so on, they will get what they deserve, but they suffer a lot as well. We almost feel sorry for them.The thieves wet nickname as by Marv as their calling card (according to him) is to let the water run all of the houses they were stolen. That said, the two thieves wet funny. Harry is more peppery, while Marv was the most stupid of the two (though both stupid) and maybe that's why people tend to agree more with him. Marvs absurdity also makes it the funniest two. Marv is the typical awkward and tall man with no brain, such as Averell Dalton from Lucky Luke film comics.The many comic moments. The funniest to me was when Harry and Marv pose as Santa and his Elf and the way Harry spoke in situ, followed by the even funnier part when Kevin Harrys pants fire. Whenever a Kevin fools the thieves in a bid to make them believe the whole family at home when Kevin all alone funny too. For some reason, I also find amusing whenever Kevin screaming maniacally (especially when he says he's not afraid now and see Old Marley and screaming scenes loud.The fools and scare the boys Kevin Little Neros Pizza and Marv have Gangster movie angels with dirty Souls is funny, but in this case it would be unfair to Pizza boy he did not have to scare the hell out of it -. presents he just pizza and there is no Kevin.Old Marley an interesting character that I always. felt sorry for him because of the lies Buzz says about it. Frank, stay out of it and shut up!?. church is good. it one of the largest and most beautiful church I've ever seen in a movie. Macaulay Culkin is great due to the clever son Kevin McCallister. Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the burglars wonderful wet and Roberts Blossom has great character as Old Marley. Its also lovely to see John Candy as Gus Polinski, the? Polka King of the Midwest?. |
