| Review: I came to this film with a lot of skepticism, but I left feeling quite the opposite. Shooter takes you into the life of a retired Marine Scout Sniper Bob Lee Swagger, who retired after the mission went terribly wrong. He is called to provide information about how someone would be able to kill the president of over a kilometer. He was eventually charged with the attempted murder of the president, and the murder of the Archbishop of Ethopia and must prove their innocence in any cost.Mark Wahlberg does an excellent job of presenting detached veteran who has no respect for the government, and really gives character to You. It is supported by the outstanding Michael Pena and Danny Glover, who added to the film that no one else could. The only complaint is that the character Kate Mara, widowed wife's best friend Swagger seems to play only two emotions, threatened or hysteria, and it gets annoying, although they play the role well. Elias Kosteas a good job of playing Jack Payne, borderline psychotic government agent, but sometimes a part of it up. All in all, this movie blew me away, and I could not have enjoyed it more. All that is in any kind of action films should definitely see this movie. |
