Review: Earlier this year lost James Gandolfini. Although he has left a rich legacy of The Sopranos, it seemed as if he had more to give us. I saw an interview with Julia Louis-Dreyfus yesterday and while she put on a brave face when asked about Gandolfini, you could say how he was deeply saddened by his death. Good Enough said is so happy and light-hearted movie despite inevitably destined to be associated with his death. I am a fan of The Sopranos and I've never watched or love Seinfeld, but his genius idea to pair these two actors in such an off-type function . There is a huge goofy grin on my face when they were on screen together. They shed those pictures from the last screen with surprising ease and effortless to discover human beings. The beauty of their performances. Incredibly funny sometimes and quietly touching in others. But his gentle film in a very casual visual approach and lack of emotionally explosive scenes. Unfortunately subplots really bogs the film down. They do not add points to the movies and just not in the same class. Daughter subplot is the only one in the vicinity, but it was not enough focus. However, enough said is still very charming movie with a mature look at adult love and other chances.7/10 |
