Review: Greetings again from the darkness. OK, before you accuse me to be the world's worst speller, you know that my water Wizzdom title is a pun ... Water Park in the film is known as Wizz water and Sam Rockwell plays Owen, the man-child mentor Liam James Duncan. Duncan is a sad 14 years stuck in a beach house with her mother, boyfriend and his obnoxious nearby daughter.Steve Carell plays Trent, boyfriend mercy intimidation and not redeeming qualities that we see (other the beach house and a nice tan). Duncan mother is played by Toni Collette, and her character Pam is a divorced single mother trying to doubts about his own happiness with the balance of his adolescence, anxiety filled boy. Pam and Duncan are the underdogs in the beach community that we learn faster than neighbor Betty (Allison Janney) looking glass in hand and gossip for all.The characters are well-worn films are all there. .. We recognize the characters and their struggles, in reality, we are all someone like each of the co-writers and co-directors Nat Faxon and Jim Rash before we know. You soon realize that it is a story of coming of age of the most naive adults. Despite this, it still basically works. Write and conduct such a high quality that even though we live in the movie cliche-land, find us always worried about Duncan and Pam Owen laugh and throw tomatoes, Trent (Carell). Special mention to Sam Rockwell. While Duncan is the main character, she admits that Owen Rockwells little faith and encouragement goes a long way. Behind the facade of a rapid-fire jokes and laugh-inducing one-liners, Owen came to the end of the life of reality and broken dreams. Without ever stooping to the typical Hollywood win one for the Gipper speech, Owen managed a few confidence in Duncan to instill ... to the point where he refuses to let his mother claimed that everything is OK with Trent.AnnaSophia Robb plays the cute girl side that recognized the potential of Duncan, but the filmmakers never allow it to become some ridiculous story. Instead, we get characters that each imperfect but real and recognizable. While all the typical parts are present, it is quite cracking dialogue and the quality of acting to help it rise above the mud usual. This is a nice little alternative to huge summer movies. Nat Faxon and Jim Rash won an Oscar for co-writing the descendants Alexander Payne. In their debut, they prove their expertise as filmmakers. The following may be even better!
